It appears that there is an identifiable continuum of psychological consequences following abortion on demand that in the severe form may be labeled Post Abortion Syndrome (PAS).  Not all women who chose abortion will necessarily develop PAS but those who suffer the identified symptoms for more than one month following the abortion are considered to be experiencing at least a mild form of PAS.

Abortion may also be traumatizing to those others whose lives are touched by it: fathers and siblings of the aborted child, extended family members and abortion providers.

Memorial to the Unborn
Many people are comforted by visiting a peaceful place where they can remember the child lost to abortion.  Dubuque County Right To Life, Inc. has built such a place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa. Everyone is invited to visit.
